Following a Gatley Village Partnership meeting a group got together to discuss ways to help improve the Tatton site. The group has generated a lot of really good ideas but the one of the reasons things haven't moved forward is lack of funding to purchase the site. It was decided that there was nothing to lose if a syndicate to play the Euro Millions was formed.
This is now being launched and Application Forms have been distributed throughout the village. The intention is for the first draw to be on 21 October.
Once a minimum level of winnings have been achieved the money will be divide up between the Heritage Fund and the Syndicate Members. So if the Syndicate won £1,000,000.00 - £500,000.00 would be given to the Heritage Fund and the remaining £500,000.00 divided between the Syndicate Members. If £20,000,0000.00 was won by the Syndicate £10m would be given to the Heritage Fund and £10m divided amongst the Syndicate members. If there were only 10 syndicate members they would each win £1m. There is also the chance that the Syndicate doesn't win anything.
